Would you like to meet the Portugal A Rocha Team? Do you enjoy birdwatching with friends? If so, why not sign up for one of the special birdwatching weeks being planned by the Portugal team for October and November this year, or next February, March or April? Led by Gui Réthoré, each group of just 4-8 people will visit some of the best birding places in the Algarve. The price is incredible value: just £650 for 8 days. The ringing activities at Cruzinha (our field study centre) will be one of many highlights. The most common migrants passing through from September to November are Blackcaps, Pied Flycatchers, Garden Warblers, Robins, Chiffchaffs and Willow Warblers, whilst the local Waxbills, Fan-tailed Warblers and Azure-winged Magpies often provide the most excitement for visitors, as do the occasional rarities.
